Stressful Wednesday!
Woke up to find that a dog had run all over our fresh green concrete, leaving tracks and skid marks. Fortunately the contractor was able to come out right away and they managed to smooth most of them down, though one set required heating up the concrete. I hope all will be OK. Our contractor says we will hardly notice a thing or may not even be able to see anything when the concrete is dry. I just hope he is correct about that, because it was really upsetting to see this happen, considering how much all this work is costing!
People who let dogs run lose are irresponsible idiots. It’s dangerous to the dogs, dangerous for drivers who have to avoid them on the street, dangerous for walkers and cyclists, dangerous for kids and potentially destructive of others property. There, had to get that off my chest!
I wanted to stress eat REALLY BADLY on Wednesday and didn’t. A small victory. And although I didn’t do it until late in the day, I did do my counter pushups, all 41 of them. When I get to 100, I’ll try kneeling pushups again.
I’m doing better now. They covered the drying concrete and I can’t see the spots that had to be re-worked and I therefore feel happier. I did my Thursday squats, 28 of them, and I’m going to work up to 100 on those. My legs feel like jelly, even a couple hours later. And now that I’m writing this on the late side, my legs are STILL REAL SORE and it’s Saturday. Clearly, I need to work on this! It was 4 sets, bodyweight only, 6 6 10 and 6.
So far, food has been under control all week. And my weight took a small plunge downward which was cheering, though it may have been dehydration more than anything. I hardly drank on Wednesday, I just felt sick over the messed up concrete. Rectifying that!

I wish you much success in your weight loss journey!

Thank you! Same from me, and I agree, it is within us to DO THIS!

Congrats on every single one of those small victories.
As for the push ups, there is nothing magical about 100 and it kind of defeats the point. If you can do 40 counter push ups, it’s time to move to the next level. Aim for 20, and whatever you can’t manage, finish off with the counter version.
Look forward to hearing how you get on.
