47 push-ups yesterday
Yesterday I continued plodding on towards my goal of doing 100 counter push-ups at a whack. I’d hoped, after a two day rest break, to be able to do just a little more than my last week’s number, but it didn’t happen.
I did my little 5 minute cardio warm-up (which actually gets me huffing and puffing, it’s not that easy) and then I did push-up sets of 9, 9, 11, 10 and 8 at the kitchen counter and it was a strain.
Eating was well under control, and I actually fixed myself a large salad with a healthy low fat link of sausage in it for dinner. Perhaps I can drop back into good habits more easily than I thought. The funny thing, even doing just a tiny, bare minimum of exercise, I feel better about myself. And it leads to me making better decisions. So even teeny tiny victories or steps of progress contribute to success.
