Weigh-in
I know that daily weighing drives some folks batty, but I find that it keeps me on track. So I do it. First thing in the morning. Then I enter it in the Hacker’s Diet Online. The little graph will tell you what I weigh on the most recent date I entered my weight. I like that it also, over time, starts to give you an idea of what your calorie surplus or deficit is. It’s a good reminder for keeping on track. What is hard to realize is that even as little as 50 extra calories a day that is not burned will lead to a gain over time.
So, I’m back in the habit of weighing most days now.
No “Official” Monday Weigh-in unless I want to.
At least for now. What that means is not that I won’t weigh myself, but that I may elect not to post it. It became an unwelcome chore to post when I had either not lost or gained and was causing me to avoid my blog. Yet, if I don’t feel I have to post, oddly, I seem more willing to do it. And that does, at the very least, serve as a reminder of where I am and whether or not I am progressing or stagnating.
